Leeds United fans have been reacting to some footage that has come out from their U23 game against Newcastle United this afternoon.

The young side have incredibly impressive this season as they currently sit with a pretty big gap to second place in the Premier League 2 Division 2 table, so not only are they likely going to win the league, but they’ll do it in style.

And speaking of style, that’s exactly what defender Charlie Creswell had plenty of during the game, as he beat two Newcastle defenders in quick succession (via @FocusOnLeeds), first with a Cruyff Turn and then a Roulette, earning his team a free-kick in the process.

Which led to plenty of Leeds United fans swooning over the defender when they saw the clip on social media:

“Some filth from the lad”

“Hope Bielsa caught that. What’s this about us needing a left-back?”
“Jeeeez!!!!”
“Awesome”
“Charlie Cresswell (son of Richard) has been impressing for Leeds U23s this season, but this is obscene from the centre-back.”
“Cressphinha AM I RITE”
“Proper baller this don. If I’ve ever seen a marauding centre-back perfect for Bielsa this is the boy. Physical guy with great technical ability. Can’t wait to see him involved”

Will Bielsa play any of these youngsters between now and the end of the season?

Yes

Yes

No

No

If he can impress with the rest of his skillset the way he did with those two turns, then who knows just how soon he’ll be able to make the jump into the first-team.
