A lot of Leeds United fans have flocked to slate Patrick Bamford’s display during the Whites’ 2-0 defeat to West Ham United.

Can you remember where Leeds finished in these league seasons? First up: 2018/19

Bamford missed quite a few chances for the Whites that meant they didn’t have any chance of salvaging anything from the game and these Leeds fans were not happy with his performance.

Poor goals given away, Poor finishing at the other end and robbed by var again that us never ofside. Bamford got his championship boots on and Bill is not at it, time for Drameh”

@Crusty_Costa

Awful awful my grandson could finish the two chances Bamford missed load of rubbish need to put players on the posts at corners to much loyalty bamford deserves a few harsh words Cooper trying too many long balls caused first goal giving to many passes away”

@JohnCol93

still think we need 1 more win..phillips raphinha dallas all decent..that game tonight shows why Bamford won’t be in the England squad..he’s been great but an international puts them 2 chances away..1st half embarrassing but we showed heart in the 2nd..who’s are best CBs?”

@FBoxleeds

Were you happy with Bamford's performance?

No, he just wasn't good enough

No, he just wasn't good enough

Yes, he was just unlucky

Yes, he was just unlucky

Leeds lost to a Jesse Lingard goal and also a header from Craig Dawson and had chances to get back into the game through Bamford, but he wasted them.

The 27-year-old has had a brilliant season for the Whites so far, having scored 13 goals and provided a further six assists, but he didn’t have his shooting boots at the London Stadium.

His display clearly annoyed these Whites fans who continued to slate Bamford.

To think, Patrick Bamford will earn more this week than most of us do in a year for that performance.”

@knowlesm

People saying how haven’t we scored ?? I tell you why PATRICK BAMFORD”

@CWG1201

When we go to London Craig Dawson turns into Sergio Ramos and Patrick Bamford turns into Joelinton.”

@boothjosh93

“I like Bamford, but sometimes he’s like a big Giraffe”

@MrLukeyGeorge

The 27-year-old has endured a bit of a goal drought recently with just one in his last five league games, and he did miss some glorious chances in this match.

Certainly, it is clear that these Leeds fans were not pleased with Bamford’s display against the Hammers, and they will have to hope he is better against Chelsea.
