In an exclusive interview with GiveMeSport, Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly would be interested in a move to Everton this summer.

Reports in England claim Everton boss Carlo Ancelotti has made reuniting with Koulibaly this summer a priority, and Romano believes it is a possibility due to the player always being attracted to the Premier League.

When fit, Koulibaly, who reportedly earns €175,000-a-week (£150,000-a-week) has been one of the first names on the teamsheet for Napoli this season, making 20 Serie A appearances and captaining the side on a few occasions.

Do you believe that there is any possibility of the Toffees signing Kalidou Koulibaly?

Discussing whether the £45m-rated 29-year-old would be open to joining the Merseyside club this summer, Romano told GiveMeSport:

I think he would be interested because he’s always had this attractive situation with the Premier League, so he’s always been attracted by the Premier League clubs.”

Currently, Ancelotti has the likes of Michael Keane, Ben Godfrey and Yerry Mina to call upon when fielding his central defence, though there are reports suggesting that the Colombia international could leave Goodison Park in the next transfer window to make way for Koulibaly.
