Leeds have had some odd players over the last ten years but how well do you remember them. Starting with the most recent one, who is this?

One of the topics that he spent a bit of time on was Ezgjan Alioski’s contract situation, as the 29-year-old’s deal expires at the end of the season, and he hasn’t signed a new contract yet.

Alioski has been heavily linked with a move to Galatasaray, which might not go down that well considering the two clubs’ history.

Hay confirmed that Leeds want Alioski to stay and have offered him a contract.

He said: “Leeds want him to stay. There’s an offer on the table; as I said, I don’t think it will be improved or changed.

“I think it is as it is and he’ll either accept it or he won’t. I can’t say whether he’s going to Galatasaray. I don’t think anything has been agreed there, and I don’t think anything has been formally accepted.

“But the talk of Galatasaray is extremely strong, and there’s enough noise from Turkey to make you think that they would genuinely like to take him.”

Do you want Alioski to sign a new contract?

TIF Thoughts on Alioski…

Since Marcelo Bielsa arrived at Elland Road, Alioski has played in 117 of his 131 matches, which shows that he has become an important member of the Argentine’s team.

Alioski is also a bit of a livewire and clearly a valued member of the squad, so it would be a shame if he were to leave the Whites at the end of the season.

It is not as if Alioski, who is valued at £3.6 million (as per Transfermarkt), has barely played this season either, as he has featured in 27 of Leeds’ 29 Premier League games and has played mainly as a left-back in those games.

However, until he commits to Leeds, you would think there is always the possibility of him leaving, and we would like to see him stay, but we will have to see what he decides to do at the end of the season.
