Leeds United fans have been reacting on Twitter to reported news that Raphinha is happy at the club despite rumours linking him to a move away from Yorkshire this summer.
The Mirror has insisted Leeds are not considering selling their Brazilian winger this summer amid interest from some of the Premier League’s biggest sides including Liverpool.
Raphinha has been a revelation at Elland Road this season after the Yorkshire side bought the winger for £17m from French side Stade Rennais.
The 24-year-old has made 21 appearances in the Premier League alone this season and has found the back of the net five times.
It is clear why the Leeds fans want to see the winger playing at Elland Road when fans are allowed to return to the stadiums once again and they showed their delight on Twitter:
“Great news, but someone could offer £100 million and we see how happy radz is instead.”
“He’s just arrived he won’t go anywhere this summer.”
“I want him to stay but on the flip side now might be the time to cash in? I mean say he stays and doesn’t quite hit the heights again like many before him then his value could decrease considerably. 60mil plus would sort out 3 or 4 positions it’s a big call.”
“Does this mean we have to keep Costa because he’s Raphinha’s mate? £40k per week to be his buddy seems fair if you ask me.”
It is easy to understand why the Leeds fans do not want to sell their tricky winger, he has been a joy to watch. However, it might be worth keeping an eye out for how much teams are willing to offer for him as every player has their price.
