Leeds United fans on Twitter and Facebook have been responding to the latest piece of transfer news surrounding the Yorkshire club.
This comes after Leeds journalist James Marshment recently shared a post on his Twitter page relaying news published from Spanish outlet Sport (via Teamtalk) claiming that Leeds are among the clubs looking at Feyenoord midfielder Orkun Kokcu, who has a price of around €20m (£17.2m) this summer.
The claims were also shared on Facebook by club news account Leeds Insider, which relayed similar news that the club have an interest in Kokcu.
This news then grabbed the attention of a lot of Leeds fans online, who were quick to share their thoughts on the matter.
So, what did these Leeds fans have to say in response to this latest transfer news?
“Would rather splash on de paul tbh”
“He’s good. We’ve been linked with better in the role though and that price is more than I’d want to pay for him.”
“He’s got 5* weak foot on fifa. I’m sold. #lufc”
“Never heard of him”
Do you think Leeds should sign a midfielder this summer?
Yes
No
Looking at the replies to these posts regarding Leeds’ reported interest in Kokcu, it seems that it has gathered a number of differing opinions from these Leeds fans, with some feeling fairly positive about a potential summer move for him, whereas others aren’t as interested.
Given how Kokcu has only managed to score two goals and provide two assists so far this season for Feyenoord across all competitions, it’s understandable why some of these Leeds fans aren’t particularly excited over a potential move for the midfield man this summer.
