Leeds United supporters have been reacting on Twitter after reports emerged claiming that is considering giving Ayling and Patrick Bamford their first England call-ups.

’s men are enjoying their first campaign back in the Premier League after a prolonged absence, and Ayling and Bamford have played a pivotal part in their success this season.

While Bamford has won over the majority of his critics, bagging 13 goals and providing six assists, Ayling has also caught the eye with his high-energy and full-blooded performances from right-back.

According to The Guardian, Southgate is contemplating rewarding the pair for their impressive displays by including them in his 30-man squad for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers against , Albania and , a decision which would clearly prove popular with the club’s fanbase.

The Elland Road pair are clearly fan-favourites amongst the Leeds supporters, and if Southgate does select them in the coming days it will be nothing less than they deserve.
