Speaking exclusively to GiveMeSport, Fabrizio Romano has denied rumours linking former Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri with the Leeds job.
Current Leeds boss Marcelo Biesla has entered the final three months of his contract at Elland Road, meaning the South Yorkshire club could be looking for a new manager this summer, but Romano expects the Argentine to extend his stay.
Should Leeds sign Van Aanholt?

And therefore has revealed that Allegri, whose been out of work since leaving Juventus after guiding them to an eighth Serie A title on the bounce, won’t take over at Elland Road – especially with the 53-year-old looking to work at what the Italian journalist describes as “top” clubs.
Allegri won the league title in each of his five seasons with Juve, and is highly regarded as one of the top managers in the world, meaning it would be a significant coup for Leeds to bring him to replace Bielsa, but Romano admitted there’s nothing in the reports.
He told GiveMeSport:
“What I’m told is there is still nothing with Allegri. Allegri is looking for something different, and with all respect to Leeds, he wants to win titles.
“He was won of the the best managers we had in Italy in the last 10 season. He won everything with Juventus in Serie A and was two times Champions League finalists, so he is looking for top, top clubs.”
