Fans of Celtic have taken to Twitter to criticise the performance of Hoops centre-forward, Patryk Klimala, following the Bhoys’ 1-0 victory over Aberdeen on Saturday.

In the fixture itself, an early goal from Klimala’s strike partner, Odsonne Edouard, was enough to secure all three points for Celtic in John Kennedy’s first game in charge of the club, a result which saw the Hoops close the gap on the league leaders to 15 points.

However, after being handed just his third league start of the season by the 37-year-old interim manager, Klimala’s performance appeared to do very little to impress the club’s supporters, many of whom took to Twitter to share their frustrations with the £1.8 million-rated 22-year-old’s display against the Dons.

So, what exactly did these Celtic fans have to say in reaction to Patryk Klimala’s performance against Aberdeen?

“Klimala is dreadful. Another ‘project’ for £3 million who will never be good enough. Hopeless. Who’s the worst? Klimala or Ajeti.”

@BusyIt

“Pretty anonymous. Great at throwing himself down on the ground though.”

@GJS2010

“Let him go.”

@McKay779

“Same as every other performance, garbage.”

@dafergal

“He’s not good enough.”

@gerrywright1967

“Lad is nowhere near it. Not even close…”

@munkibhoy

“He’s never a Celtic quality striker anyway.”

@rp_mcmurphy1980

“Klimala couldn’t finish rainbow road on Mario Kart Wii.”

@Arron2Smith

“I don’t know why Klimala got a start he has been useless in front of goal since we signed him.”

@Eddy68248423

“Klimala is a League Two player.”

@EvilKinnevo

All in all, it would seem as if these Celtic fans were not best pleased with the display of Klimala, and, considering the £5.8k per week striker lost the ball seven times in the fixture, as well as managing no shots on target and receiving a SofaScore match rating of 6.9 for his performance, it is not hard to understand why.
