Celtic fans on Twitter have been responding to the latest comments made by Hoops manager Neil Lennon.

This comes after the official Celtic Twitter account shared a post on their page that contained a video of Lennon speaking to the club’s media after their 2-1 victory against St. Johnstone at the weekend.

Which club did Brown join Celtic from?

During the video, Lennon described Celtic’s performance on the day as being “excellent” and that he was “very happy” with it overall.

This post then gathered a lot of replies from Hoops fans who were quick to share their responses to these latest comments from the manager.

So, what did these Celtic fans have to say in response to Lennon’s comments after the St. Johnstone win?

“He’s lost it”

@paddydempsey7

“Delusional what game was he at”

@BruenKeith

“Can’t stand listening to the man, get rid”

@JimCarroll583

“I thought they were atrocious”

@Biddybaws

“Wonder what game he was watching ?”

@paddyb53

“Remove him from media duties. It’s embarrassing”

@TommyTommyBurns

Looking at the replies to this post, it appears that these Celtic fans don’t agree with Lennon’s positive assessment of his side’s performance in their latest SPFL game, despite the winning result.

Were you impressed by Celtic's performance against St. Johnstone?

Yes

Yes

No

No

Given how WhoScored gave Celtic a team rating of 6.84/10 for their performance against St. Johnstone, this suggests to us that Lennon’s use of the word ‘excellent’ does seem like a slight exaggeration as these Hoops fans seem to think.

Taking into account that Celtic managed to win the game, yet these Hoops fans are not happy with Lennon and what he had to say after the final whistle, in our view, it seems that they believe a change in management is needed at Parkhead.
