Fans of Celtic have taken to Twitter to praise the performance of Hoops centre-back, Kristoffer Ajer, in the Bhoys’ 1-0 win over Aberdeen.
Since arriving at Celtic from IK Start in what was a £540k deal back in 2016, Ajer has gone on to become a regular part of the Hoops first-team setup, featuring 165 times for the club, chipping in with six goals and providing five assists along the way.
In the £3.6 million-rated 22-year-old’s latest start for Neil Lennon’s side, the Bhoys’ 1-0 victory over the Dons on Wednesday evening, Ajer turned in a fantastic performance, winning six of his eight duels, making two tackles, two interceptions and blocking one shot, culminating in a SofaScore match rating of 7.4.
And, the Norway international’s performance did not go unnoticed by the Celtic fans, many of whom took to Twitter to heap considerable praise on the young defender.
