Many Celtic fans have been discussing a news update about Vasilis Barkas that recently emerged on social media.

Journalist Giannis Chorianopoulos recently tweeted about Barkas’ situation, saying that the goalkeeper may well be running out of time at Celtic considering that he wasn’t in the club’s squad for their game against Ross County.

The journalist stated that there is a possibility of Barkas getting loaned out in the summer, but returning to Greece isn’t an option for him right now.

Barkas had arrived at Parkhead from AEK Athens in the summer transfer window, as the Hoops shelled out an initial fee of £2.95 million. He had signed a four-year deal with the Bhoys (as per Sky Sports).
