Tottenham Hotspur fans have been reacting to news of who they will be facing in the last 16 of the Europa League.
Given how things are going for them in the league and how far off the top four they are, this competition offers them arguably their best chance of qualifying for next season’s Champions League. On top of that it offers a good chance for them to break their long trophy-drought that has been going on since 2008.
And for the next stage of the competition, they will face Croatian side Dinamo Zagreb. Dinamo are currently joint-top of the Croatian First Football League and got past Russian side FC Krasnodar to get this far in the competition.
And there was a lot of confidence coming from Spurs fans on social media after the game, as they appeared to be delighted with the draw.
Will Spurs win the Europa League?
The next question is what sort of side will Jose Mourinho play in these games, will he go full-strength, or will there be a little bit of tinkering and resting involved?
