Fans of Tottenham Hotspur have taken to Twitter to share their frustrations at Matt Doherty’s involvement in Spurs’ victory against West Bromwich Albion.
Having impressed over his 68 minutes on the pitch, winning four ground duels, two aerial duels and completing two dribbles, Serge Aurier had to be withdrawn prior to the final whistle of Tottenham’s victory against West Brom on Sunday after picking up a knock.
As a result, Doherty, who had not featured in the Premier League since the 3-1 loss to Liverpool back in January, was introduced by Jose Mourinho, something which many Tottenham Hotspur fans were left furious by.
