Fans of Tottenham Hostpur have taken to Twitter to criticise the performance of Spurs midfielder, Harry Winks, in the club’s Europa League clash with Wolfsberger AC.

So far this season, Winks has found Premier League game time hard to come by under Jose Mourinho, making just nine appearances in the top flight, over which the £22.5 million-rated 25-year-old has averaged a disappointing WhoScored match rating of 6.34 – ranking him as the club’s fifth-worst performer in the league.

A nice easy one to start off with, who is Tottenham's record signing?

However, over the England international’s six appearances in Europe – prior to Wednesday’s fixture – it has been a rather different story, with Winks scoring one goal and providing one assist, as well as averaging an impressive WhoScored match rating of 7.29 – ranking him as the club’s joint fifth-best performer in the Europa League.

Although, after Mourinho opted to start the 25-year-old against the Austrian side this evening, fans of Tottenham appeared far from happy with the display of the midfielder, with many taking to Twitter to share their frustrations.
