Fans of Tottenham Hotspur have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relayed a report that claims Spurs are keeping tabs on Aston Villa centre-back, Ezri Konsa, ahead of a potential summer move.
The report by David Ornstein for The Athletic claims that both Tottenham and Liverpool are ‘studying’ Konsa over the remainder of the season, as each side ‘seek to bolster’ their options in the centre of defence in the summer market.
Indeed, the £10.8 million-rated 23-year-old has impressed over his 20 Premier League appearances for Dean Smith’s side so far this season, making an average of 0.7 tackles, 0.7 interceptions and 4.2 clearances per game, helping his side to keep nine clean sheets, as well as averaging a SofaScore match rating of 7.01.
And, after The Spurs Web relayed Ornstein’s report on Twitter, fans of the club flocked to have their say on the matter, with many appearing delighted at the prospect of their club making a move for the England U21 international.
