In his tweet, Gold said that, when asked about Ndombele’s ‘knock’ that ‘ended his game’ in the ’s recent 1-0 loss to Premier League strugglers Brighton & Hove Albion, Mourinho claimed that the £40.5 million-rated 24-year-old will ‘be fine for selection’ against Chelsea on Thursday evening.

So far this season, Ndombele has highly impressed over his 18 Premier League appearances for Spurs, scoring three goals and providing one assist, as well as averaging a WhoScored match rating of 7.03 – ranking him as the club’s joint third-best performer in the top flight.

And, in reaction to Gold’s tweet, fans of Tottenham flocked to have their say on the matter, with many claiming that Ndombele’s availability for selection will be scaring Chelsea’s players.

All in all, it would appear that the vast majority of these Tottenham Hotspur fans are delighted that Ndombele looks set to feature in their club’s fixture against Chelsea, and, considering the form the Frenchman has been in for Spurs so far this season, it is not difficult to understand why.
