Fans of Tottenham Hotspur have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relayed a report regarding Spurs’ apparent interest in Alexandre Lacazette.

A nice easy one to start off with, who is Tottenham's record signing?

It is thought that following Gareth Bale’s likely return to Real Madrid, Spurs would require attacking reinforcements in the summer window, and that Jose Mourinho would ‘give the green light’ to the signing of the £31.5 million-rated 29-year-old.

However, after THFCReport relayed this claim on Twitter, fans of Tottenham flocked to have their say on the matter, with many appearing to be distraught at the prospect of their club signing a player from their north London rivals.

So, what exactly did these Tottenham Hotspur fans have to say in reaction to the claim regarding their club’s interest in Alexandre Lacazette?

“This is all Steve Hitchen.”

@Jack48124973

“Yeah, no thanks.”

@HeungMinMikkel

“Nahhhh.”

@thfc_ishan

“No they are not.”

@ours1882

“Are you mad?”

@Jspurs3

“LOOOOOOOOL get out of here.”

All in all, it would appear these Tottenham fans are firmly against their club making a move to sign Lacazette this summer, however, considering the fact that the striker has 10 goal involvements – eight goals and two assists – over his 20 Premier League appearances so far this season, perhaps a move for the 29-year-old wouldn’t be such a disastrous thing.
