Fans of Tottenham Hotspur have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relayed Jose Mourinho’s comments ahead of Spurs’ Europa League tie on Thursday.
Speaking in his pre-match press conference prior to Tottenham’s clash with Wolfsberger AC, Mourinho claimed that the team he will put out will be the ‘strongest’ side he can possibly field, before adding he will not be afforded the luxury all of his ‘first choices’ for the fixture.
Finally, the 58-year-old appeared to offer an olive branch to those who will be selected to face the Austrian side, stating that players he selects are ‘good players’.
However, after Last Word On Spurs relayed the comments of the Spurs boss on Twitter, fans of the club flocked to have their say on the matter, with many appearing to be of the belief that Mourinho is already making excuses for a loss in the fixture.

So, what exactly did these Tottenham Hotspur fans have to say in reaction to Jose Mourinho’s pre-match comments?
“We are gonna lose.”
“Can’t wait to see us make a mid-table Austrian side look like 2010 Barcelona.”
“Excuses in early.”
“He is so miserable and negative. Sack him. Excuses after excuses.”
“Good/bag of average.”
“Can’t be talking about Ben Davies then.”
All in all, it would appear that these Tottenham Hotspur fans are not at all confident of Mourinho’s side getting a result against Wolfsberger on Thursday, and, considering the club’s diabolical run of recent form, it is not difficult to understand why.
