Fans of Tottenham Hotspur have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relayed Jose Mourinho’s comments regarding the fitness of Spurs left-back, Sergio Reguilon.

According to Mourinho, Reguilon will not be travelling with the Tottenham squad for their Europa League tie against Wolfsberger AC on Thursday as there has been “no good news” regarding the £25.2 million-rated 24-year-old’s muscle injury, which has kept him out of action since late January.

A nice easy one to start off with, who is Tottenham's record signing?

However, the 58-year-old did state that there has been “no setback” for Reguilon, but rather that the process of the left-back’s recovery is “not going as fast” as the club had initially predicted.

Finally, Mourinho claimed that Reguilon could be in contention for the club’s fixture against West Ham United this weekend, or perhaps the reverse fixture against Wolfsberger next week.

And, after the official Tottenham Hotspur account relayed Mourinho’s comments on Twitter, fans of the club flocked to have their say on the matter, with many appearing to be devastated to hear the news of Reguilon’s continued absence.

All in all, it would appear that these Tottenham Hotspur fans are not at all pleased to hear the news regarding Reguilon, and considering that the Spaniard’s replacement, Ben Davies, has averaged a 6.54/10 WhoScored match rating in the Premier League so far this season, compared to Reguilon’s 6.87 rating in what is his first season in Engish football, it is not difficult to understand why.
