Tottenham Hotspur fans have been reacting to Jose Mourinho’s latest news on the injury front.
Spurs are approaching something of a critical time in their season. Whilst qualifying for Europe through the league is looking a bit sketchy at the moment, it’s still not impossible, and they also have the challenge of playing in the Europa League to add on top of that, so they’ll need all the bodies they can get.
Speaking in his press conference today (via @TheSpursExpress), Mourinho revealed that defender Serge Aurier has returned from injury, and that midfielder Giovani Lo Celso will be returning next week. The news of their return was greeted with great excitement by the supporters on social media, who felt that their return might just signal a change in the club’s fortunes moving forward:
“Everything going well the only problem is it’s gonna be Dele, Gio, Ndombele, Moura, Lamela all fighting for that spot”
