A nice easy one to start off with, who is Tottenham's record signing?

During the match, lots of Spurs fans flocked to Twitter to share their thoughts on Davies and his display in the first half of the game at the Etihad Stadium.

So, what did these Spurs fans have to say about Davies’ performance against City?

“Davies gets worse every week”

@king26ledley

“Already had enough of Davies”

@harrypell_

“Davies and Dier having no clue what to do with the ball.”

@adhithya35

“Is there genuine a worse left back in the league than Ben Davies?”

@Glxn

“Has Ben Davies made a successful pass yet?”

@THFCMW

“Ben Davies is so so bad”

@DoveWdove

@Nath_THFC

@tariq__tp

Looking at these tweets from this group of Spurs fans, it’s clear to see that they were not impressed by what they saw from the 27-year-old, who is currently valued at €20m (£18m) by CIES, in the first half against City.

As per SofaScore, the Welshman lost possession six times from 22 touches and made only 69% of his 13 passing attempts. It’s no wonder so many supporters were fuming.
