A nice easy one to start off with, who is Tottenham's record signing?

The article claimed that Mauricio Pochettino is in “regular contact” with Spurs goalkeeper Hugo Lloris with Paris Saint-Germain set to try and sign the shot-stopper this summer.

This post then gathered a lot of replies from Spurs fans who were quick to share their thoughts on this latest news.

So, what did these Spurs fans have to say in response to this transfer news concerning Lloris and Pochettino?

“PLEASE. I BEG”

@spursychirpy

“Take him”

@ArraJohnny

“They can have him”

@THFCJack31

“Please be true”

@lucythfc

“Maybe it’s time for Hugo to move on. Been a great servant but maybe just passing his best.”

@PSGregBridgett

“I feel like Hugo might be coming to an end anyway so might be a good move for both clubs”

@Wharfey11

“Best news ever”

@bruceg87

“Please please go”

@Nickyh_yiddo

“Good hopefully get a hefty fee for the clown”

@Felon82

“Time to go”

@lmackelden

Spurs signed Lloris back in August 2012 from Olympique Lyon for a fee of £12 million. Since then, the 34-year-old, who is currently valued at £10.8 million, has made 353 appearances for the club across all competitions in which he has managed to keep 120 clean sheets (per Transfermarkt).

Looking at the replies to this post, it’s clear to see that these Spurs fans would be happy to see Lloris leave the club this summer for a move to PSG and reunite with Pochettino who Lloris made 229 appearances under.

Do you think Spurs should sell Lloris this summer?

Yes

Yes

No

No

In our view, given how Lloris has managed to keep seven clean sheets in the Premier League so far this season, perhaps the north London club should look to keep hold of him for as long as possible.
