A nice easy one to start off with, who is Tottenham's record signing?

The article claims that Spanish club Atletico Madrid are interested in signing Lo Celso and could make an offer for him this summer.

This post then gathered a lot of replies from Spurs fans who were quick to share their thoughts on this latest news.

So, what did these Spurs fans have to say in response to this latest transfer news concerning Lo Celso?

“Best news I‘ve heard all day”

@SpursJimmyy

“Just take him. Good player in his own right but I can’t handle these injuries.”

@thfcJak

“Take it and run”

@Christianjw92

“50m and he’s yours”

@axelthfc

“Sell him. Every time I see GLC I go into an uncontrollable rage thinking of how it should have been Bruno at Spurs.”

@hotspur_tom

“Sweet! Take whatever we can get for him”

@KingOfTheCast23

Since arriving at the north London club on an original loan deal from Real Betis back in August 2019, the 24-year-old, who is currently valued at £31.5 million, has made 56 appearances for Jose Mourinho’s side across all competitions in which he has managed to score seven goals and provide four assists along the way (per Transfermarkt).

Would you sell Lo Celso this summer?

Yes

Yes

No

No

Looking at the replies to this post, it appears that these Spurs fans would be happy to see the Argentine leave the club this summer for a move to Spain.

In our view, with Lo Celso having had his fair share of injury issues since being with Spurs, perhaps moving him on and using the transfer fee to sign a more reliable midfielder would be a smart piece of business for the club.
