Tottenham Hotspur fans on Twitter have been reacting to recently posted footage of Lilywhites manager Jose Mourinho after seeing his side lose 3-0 against Manchester City in the Premier League.

This comes after Spurs news Twitter account @thespursweb shared a post on their page that contained the footage (via Football Daily) of Mourinho hugging and consoling his players after the final whistle blew at the Etihad Stadium.

A nice easy one to start off with, who is Tottenham's record signing?

This post then gathered a lot of replies from Spurs fans who were quick to share their responses to this footage of Mourinho.

So, what did these Spurs fans have to say in reaction to this footage of Mourinho after the Man City defeat?

“They look dead to water, think Jose is losing them”

@josh_wiggan

“He’s trying to keep the players on his side”

@benarcher60

“He’s clinging to desperation. Players don’t look remotely interested in his intentions. His time is coming to an end”

@Lewis_c12SG

“Jose playing for the cameras. People that fall for this should have their accounts revoked”

@Ricky11Slade

“They are not happy at all!! First time I’ve seen him do this for a while…. Dier looked so angry and Sonny so distraught. He needs to go!”

@BridgetFord18

“But as a player if you don’t rate the person trying to give you that lift then it’s never going to work”

@Tottenham_truth

“I like this from Jose. No hiding.”

@MIG311200

“It’s obvious the players don’t want to work under him. They walking off heads down and all individually. This is not a team anymore. Jose needs to go”

@holland_spurs

“Honestly couldn’t care less”

@RKavanagh16

Looking at the replies to this post, it appears that these Spurs fans aren’t feeling too positive about Mourinho despite this footage showing him consoling his players.

Do you think the Spurs players have given up on Mourinho?

Yes

Yes

No

No

Given how Spurs have only won three out of their 12 previous Premier League games, it’s fairly understandable why these fans are suggesting the players look dejected and are questioning their loyalty to Mourinho.

Moving forward, Spurs will need to pick up a consistent run of results and positive performances to turn the mood around at the north London club.
