Plenty of Spurs supporters have reacted to a statistic on Jose Mourinho’s points per game after the BBC compared it to former Spurs boss Juande Ramos.

The Lilywhites boss has come under pressure from some sections of the Tottenham Hotspur faithful, after a poor run of results in the Premier League.

They’re currently sat ninth in the top-flight standings after 23 matches, and now find themselves 20 points adrift of league-leaders Manchester City having lost four of their last five outings.

It has recently been revealed that Mourinho is averaging 1.65 points per game from 49 matches, which is the second-lowest ratio from any Spurs manager since Juande Ramos, who record a total of 1.17 between 2007 and 2008.

Will Mourinho win a trophy at Spurs?

Ramos was in charge for just under a year, but did guide Spurs to an EFL Cup win, as they beat London rivals Chelsea in extra time, as Jonathan Woodgate netted the winner at Wembley – their last piece of silverware.

A number of Tottenham supporters took to social media to react to the statistic that doesn’t make for the best of reading for Jose Mourinho.

Take a look at the best of the reaction from Twitter below…

“That’s the lowest of his career too. Almost as there’s something wrong with the club and team at the moment that’ll drag a manager of his calibre’s record that low.”
