Leeds United fans on Twitter have been sharing their praise for Whites midfielder Jamie Shackleton and his performance for Marcelo Bielsa’s side during their recent 1-0 defeat against Wolves in the Premier League.

This comes after Leeds United Live shared a post on their Twitter page asking their followers what they made of the Englishman’s display against the Midlands club on Friday night at Molineux and what would they rate his performance out of 10.

Nice easy one to start off with, what number does Phillips wear for Leeds United?

This post then gathered a lot of replies from Leeds fans who were quick to share their responses to this post.

So, what did these Leeds fans have to say in response to this Twitter post about Shackleton and his performance against Wolves?

“8/10 got better and better as the game went on, looked ok in that role, better than Struijk, Shacks is more forward thinking”

@Nickfaldo92

“7…other than to give a more attacking edge, not sure why they took him off. I’d have taken Roberts off”

@00Seddon1965

“Thought he had a good steady game. 7/10. Gives us a different option as he would be more forward thinking than KP. Didn’t pick up the short passes KP would but was very busy around that area.”

@barrymcguigan1

“8/10 hes a little diamond, you wont find man his age who can play somany positions at such a high level”

@Kallumhunt88

“Decent, 7/10”

@MikeHawker75

“7. Has he stopped running yet?”

@Fabahan

“Next one off the production line He brings energy and mobility to the midfield Look after him and we have another gem”

@davmor44

“7.5 , I think he looks better every game”

@northernsmithy

As a product of Leeds’ youth system, Shackleton, who is currently valued at €4m (£3.5m) by CIES Football Observatory, made his senior debut for the Yorkshire club back in August 2018.
