Leeds United fans on Twitter have been responding to the latest social media post from Whites journalist Phil Hay.

This comes after Hay recently shared a post on his official Twitter page saying that Huggins had a “really decent debut” for Marcelo Bielsa’s side in their recent 4-2 defeat against Arsenal and that he was “well up to speed.”

Nice easy one to start off with, what number does Phillips wear for Leeds United?

This post from Hay then gathered a lot of replies from Leeds fans who were quick to share their thoughts and feelings on the 20-year-old left-back.

So, what did these Leeds fans have to say in response to Hay’s post about Huggins?

“He’s looked really good”

“Looks comfortable on ball.”

“Miles better than alioski”

“Start him against Wolves deserves a chance based on this”

“Agreed, another good youth product with a bright future”

“Looks class! One good thing to come out of the game”

“Huggins has proven here for me he is no worse than Alioski and deserves more time.”

“Better at RB than Shackleton”

“Reminded me of Shackleton. Hopefully Harte has better guidance than he did for Clarke”

“Thought he looked very assured.”

Looking at the replies to this post from Hay, it appears that these Leeds fans are all in agreement with the journalist over his assessment of Huggins and what he showed on the pitch against Arsenal.

Do you think Huggins should start in Leeds' next game?

With Leeds Live giving Huggins a match rating of 6/10 for his substitute appearance against Arsenal, saying that he did “absolutely fine” in the match, this backs up this praise from Hay and these Leeds fans.

Looking ahead to the remainder of the season, it will be interesting just how many appearances the youngster will make for Leeds in this campaign.
