Leeds United fans on have been raving over Whites winger Raphinha and his latest performance for the Yorkshire club during their recent 1-0 defeat against Wolverhampton Wanderers.

This comes after @LUFCDATA shared a post on their page that contained the winger’s match statistics from that saw Marcelo Bielsa’s side leave Molineux empty-handed thanks to an unfortunate own goal from Leeds goalkeeper Illan Meslier.

Nice easy one to start off with, what number does Phillips wear for Leeds United?

The post revealed that Raphinha made more touches, successful crosses, successful take-ons and created more chances in the game than another Leeds player on the night.

This post quickly grabbed the attention of a lot of Leeds fans, who were quick to share their praise for the £60k-per-week Brazilian’s efforts during the defeat.

So, what did these Leeds fans have to say in response to this post on Raphinha and his performance against Wolves?

Next level – we need to level up very soon or he’ll be off”

“An incredible player and a steal at £17m.”

“He is world class, finishers need to step up and put more of his deliveries in the net”

“Phenomenal talent. Getting better every week as well”

Deserves to be playing for a top 6/8 club. Hopefully that’s us in the next couple of seasons or three! #lufc

“He is literally too good”

“His delivery on set pieces tonight was perfect!he put it on a plate so many times.”

Looking at the replies to this post, it’s clear to see that these Leeds supporters are huge fans of Raphinha and were delighted by his performance against Wolves, despite the disappointing result.

Given how gave the 24-year-old a match rating of 8.89/10 for his display, making him the highest-rated player out of anyone from both sides that made an appearance in the game, this backs up just why these Leeds fans are over the moon with him.

Is Raphinha Leeds' best player?

Moving forward, if the £16.2m-rated sensation can continue putting in strong performances for Leeds throughout the remainder of the season, he could become one of the club’s most important players.
