Leeds United fans on Twitter have been responding to the latest comments made by Wolves manager Nuno Espirito Santo after seeing his side beat the Yorkshire club 1-0 in their recent Premier League clash at Molineux.

This comes after Leeds journalist Adam Pope shared a post on his Twitter page relaying comments made by the Portuguese manager after the game that saw his side take all three points after a shot from Adama Traore struck the woodwork in the second half, only to then be rebounded into the goal off the back of Leeds goalkeeper Illan Meslier.

Nice easy one to start off with, what number does Phillips wear for Leeds United?

In his post-match interview, Espirito Santo said that he felt his team deserved their luck in regards to the goal.

This post then gathered a lot of replies from Leeds fans who were quick to share their thoughts on these comments…

So, what did these Leeds fabs have to say in response to Nuno’s comments?

“Is he serious ?”

@BenLewislufc

“Watching the wrong game Nuno lad”

@rob___01

“Based on what exactly? Wow-delusional…”

@TheBagpuss

“What an absolute clown. We deserved about 63,711 goals then”

@FelixLUFC

“Sorry Nuno but I struggle to see why Wolves deserves that luck.”

@FocusOnLeeds

“Joker.”

@dzialowskimatt

“Impressive banter”

@gdlufc

“Portuguese Pulis”

@jakerpattinson

“Wow.”

@TDarksen

“The man is deluded”

@jonerMOT

Looking at the replies to this post from Pope, it appears that these Leeds fans aren’t in agreement with Espirito Santo that his team deserved the luck of their goal in the game.

Do you think Wolves deserved to win?

Yes

Yes

No

No

Given how Marcelo Bielsa’s side had more possession, shots and shots on target against the Midlands club, it’s understandable why these Leeds fans feel a bit aggrieved by Nuno’s comments and that they probably should have won the game instead of the home side.

Moving forward, everyone at Leeds will undoubtedly be hoping that they can pick up a positive result in their next league game and put this clash at Molineux behind them.
