Fans of Leeds United have been reacting to a post on Twitter, in which Jack Grealish commented on the Whites’ 1-0 loss to Aston Villa on Saturday.

Having bested Dean Smith’s 3-0 at Villa Park earlier in the season, and with the Villa talisman, Jack Grealish, ruled out of the fixture due to injury, Leeds appeared to stand a decent chance of victory heading into the clash with the Villains at Elland Road on Saturday.

Nice easy one to start off with, what number does Phillips wear for Leeds United?

However, despite Marcelo Bielsa’s side enjoying the lion’s share of possession in the match, as well as much more attacking momentum than their opponents, an early strike by Anwar El Ghazi ultimately proved too much for Marcelo Bielsa’s side to overcome, with Villa running out 1-0 winners.

And, in reaction, Grealish took to Twitter to comment on his side’s victory, with the £45 million-rated 25-year-old stating, “Ahhh what a time to be alive,” accompanied by several laughing emojis.

This did not appear to please the Leeds United fanbase, many of whom then took to Twitter themselves to criticise the Villa captain.

Do you think Grealish is a cheat?

“That’s beyond pathetic.”

“Bamford scored a hattrick against yous btw… deep it for a sec.”

@robfinny

“Well yes seems the rest of your teammates have found your skill to fall when not touched. Though your defence played well and so did your 12th man.”

@nickbriggs72

“Least we didn’t have to watch you rolling round ya soft lad… silver linings and all that.”

@BannedA54392942

“Cup Final mentality. Tinpot club. Diving, whinging cheats.”

@Fozmeister1

“Strange individual, enjoy not playing for England at the Euros as you’re only just NEARLY good enough to represent your country.”

@_JackEddy

“We put 3 past you when you were playing, simmer down little boy.”

@Scotlufc

“Clearly taught all your team how to dive and embarrass themselves… shambles of a club, want to be ashamed.”

@DannyLUFC96

“I already can’t stand you and this just made it even worse, congratulations on your win against us, when’s the open-top bus parade? Embarrassing.”

@LuFc_LB

“Can’t stand him.”

@superlufc1919

“Imagine being that obsessed.”

@jackcaden_

All in all, it would seem as if these Leeds fans were far from happy with the comments of Grealish, with many reminding the midfielder of their side’s victory over Villa earlier in the season, while others simply stated they couldn’t stand the England international.
