Fans of Leeds United have been reacting to a post on Twitter, in which the club shared footage of Whites winger Raphinha.
In the clip, which was posted by the official Leeds United Twitter account, Raphinha is seen scoring a spectacular long-range drive against the club’s opponents on Wednesday evening, Everton, in the reverse fixture earlier in the season.
However, with Marcelo Bielsa claiming that, at present, it is unclear whether the £16.2 million-rated 24-year-old will be fit for the clash with the Toffees – having been withdrawn due to injury in the 80th minute of Leeds’ recent 3-1 over Leicester City – it is not known whether the winger will be afforded the opportunity to repeat his previous success against Everton.
Although, in reaction to the footage, many Leeds fans questioned whether the clip was a hint by the club that Raphinha will indeed be involved in the fixture.
Do you think Raphinha will start?
So, what exactly did these Leeds United fans have to say in reaction to the footage of Raphinha?
“Raph is the man every match he is unreal!!!!”
“Say he’s playing, Wilson, please…”
“Pls say he’s not injured”
“Now tell us if he’s playing”
“Tell me if he’s injured”
“Does this mean he’s starting?”
“Same again tonight”
All in all, it would appear that the vast majority of these Leeds fans are desperate to see Raphinha play on Wednesday evening, and, considering the fact that the winger has scored three goals and provided four assists over his 15 Premier League appearances for Leeds so far this season, it is not difficult to see why.
