Fans of Leeds United have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relayed footage of Mateusz Klich’s post-match comments following the Whites’ loss on Saturday.

In the fixture against Aston Villa, Leeds appeared to be the side on the front foot throughout, having a total of 13 shots in comparison to Villa’s nine, as well as enjoying much more of the ball than Dean Smith’s side.

Nice easy one to start off with, what number does Phillips wear for Leeds United?

However, with Leeds missing their one big chance created in the clash, while Villa put away their one big chance, the Birmingham-based side took all three points from the game, with Anwar El Ghazi’s fifth-minute strike proving enough to separate the two sides on the day.

Following the loss, speaking to Sky Sports, Klich reflected on the number of chances Leeds missed over the course of the 90 minutes, as well as stating his belief that his side “can do better”.

And, after the official Leeds United Twitter account relayed the £3.15 million-rated 30-year-old’s remarks, fans of the club flocked to have their say on the matter, with many appearing to be furious with the £7.8k per week man’s assessment of the game.

So, what exactly did these Leeds United fans have to say in reaction to Mateusz Klich’s post-match comments?

“Can’t do much worse.”

@ianphillipsmax

“You haven’t hit the target since the Liverpool game.”

@LocoTharo

“You must do better.”

@fefooVG

“He can certainly do better. Letting Bielsa down at the minute.”

@LeedsNLeague

“‘We can do better.’ Okay, so do better then.”

@LUFCliam_

“We can do better? Well, do it then. Don’t say it if you can’t do it.”

@_LewisStant

“Need a new #8 in summer.”

@jasoneaton80

“Villa were there for the taking. Frustrating game.”

@Fergusohare

“Weekend ruined.”

@WakehurstLad

All in all, it would appear as if these Leeds fans were far from happy with both the comments and performance of Klich, and, considering the midfielder’s SofaScore match rating of 6.2 ranked him as the club’s joint-worst performer against Villa, it is not difficult to understand why.
