Fans of Leeds United have been reacting to a post on Twitter, in which Leeds centre-back, Diego Llorente, reflected on the Whites’ recent Premier League defeat to Aston Villa.

Making only his fourth Premier League appearance since joining Leeds from Real Sociedad in an £18 million deal last September, despite his side ultimately losing the fixture 1-0, Llorente was one of Marcelo Bielsa’s stand out performers in the clash with Villa – making one interception, four tackles and winning 10 duels over the course of the 90 minutes, earning a SofaScore match rating of 7.3 for his efforts.

Nice easy one to start off with, what number does Phillips wear for Leeds United?

However, after the £18 million-rated 27-year-old looked back on the defeat in a post on Twitter, fans of Leeds flocked to have their say on the defender’s performance, with many, despite admitting the £22k per week centre-back played well, taking aim at Llorente’s apparent theatrics in the fixture.

So, what exactly did these Leeds United fans have to say in reaction to Diego Llorente’s post on Twitter?

“Played well last night but less of the theatre please, Diego. We are Leeds, not Aston Villa. Not what we want to see.”

@Tonylufc28

“Just a little word of advice, no stick. I’m sure Llorente prefers to be loved than winding fans up, from a different culture, it’s taught in Spain.”

@CurtJames1993

“Good game, keeping improving as you’re doing but please don’t do the rolling about mate. We don’t do that at Leeds.”

@leedsutd_exile

“Great performance yesterday. Limited their chances to 3 on target. Just less of the theatrical rolls, please. It’s hard to criticise other teams that do it when stuff like last night happens. Nevertheless, MOT.”

@JSloan1995

“You are fitting in well Diego but please cut out the theatrics, it’s not the Leeds way. Luke’s belly flops is as far as we go.”

@duchydave

“Played well but quit the rolling about and theatrics.”

@Shortieyates04

“Don’t roll about like that for no reason again.”

@rhodesy68

“Don’t dive like that again.”

@jgriffin1919

All in all, it would appear that, despite the centre-back’s impressive display against Villa, many fans of the club were annoyed with what they believed to be the Spaniard’s theatrics in the fixture, with a number of them warning the 27-year-old not to dive again while wearing the club’s colours.
