Leeds United fans have been left rather impressed by the performance of Crysencio Summerville for their academy side.
The U23 side are storming ahead at the top of the Premier League 2 Division 2 table, scoring at a rate that the other sides simply can’t match, and when you see how easy they and some of the players make it look, it’s very easy to see why.
The club’s official page posted this video of their opening goal against Reading U23, set up by Summerville, finished off by Liam McCarron and Leeds fans could not get enough of it, as they were full of praise for the goal as well as his overall performance in the game. Some even went a step further and suggested that Summerville should be on the verge of getting called up to the first team:
“What an unreal cross that is”

Having already got plenty of game time in the Eredivisie with Dutch side ADO Den Haag, he’s certainly no stranger to senior football, it’s just a matter of whether or not Marcelo Bielsa thinks he’ll be ready to crack the Premier League.
