Image for Leeds United: Fans go wild over latest Rodrigo image

Leeds United fans on Twitter have been sharing their excitement over a recently posted photo of Whites attacker Rodrigo.

This comes after the official Leeds Twitter account shared a post on their page relaying a post originally shared by Rodrigo on his official Instagram page that contained an image of himself at the Leeds training centre with his arms up, clenching his muscles with a big smile on his face.

Nice easy one to start off with, what number does Phillips wear for Leeds United?

In his caption, Rodrigo added the phrase “day by day” referring to his recovery from injury after he strained a muscle during the Yorkshire club’s Premier League win over Leicester City earlier this month.

This post from the official Leeds Twitter account quickly grabbed the attention of a lot of Leeds fans who were over the moon at seeing this image of the attacker.

So, what did these Leeds fans have to say in response to this image of Rodrigo?

“GET IN”

@ameliegracex

“so happy! been a big loss!”

@mads_rivaaa

“Come back fast”

@AlexanderWils0n

“Be good to have him back. Bit of a stop start season. Hope he finishes the season strong”

@WhiteKnightLUFC

“Hopefully fit for Friday”

@john_lufc1919

“Yesssss”

@TimAubert

The Yorkshire club signed the 29-year-old, who is currently valued at £22.5 million back in the previous summer transfer window from Spanish club Valencia for a fee of £27 million.

Have you been satisfied with Rodrigo's season with Leeds so far?

Looking at the replies to this post, it’s clear to see that these Leeds fans are delighted to see this latest image of Rodrigo looking happy in training.

With one Leeds fan in particular hoping to see Rodrigo in action for Marcelo Bielsa’s side in their upcoming Premier League fixture against Wolves on Friday, this shows just how important they believe he is to the team. Having featured in all but two of Leeds’ league games prior to his injury, it seems the manager is of a similar opinion.
