Many Celtic fans have been responding to a tweet that was recently posted by Sky Sports News journalist Anthony Joseph, in which he shared that the Hoops are interested in signing Preston North End midfielder Ben Pearson.

According to Joseph, the Glasgow club have already made initial contact for the £1.44m-rated man, who is set to become a free agent in the summer.

Celtic are allegedly hoping to sign the 25-year-old on a pre-contract in the January transfer window. This deal would see him commit to joining the Hoops permanently in the summer.
