West Ham United are reportedly ready to pay £35 million for Celtic forward Odsonne Edouard before the January transfer window closes according to the Daily Star.

Edouard has scored 11 goals in 23 appearances this season for Neil Lennon’s side, but has been unable to recapture the form that saw Celtic win the title last season.

West Ham are currently sat seventh in the Premier League table, and are clearly keen to add depth to their attacking options in this month’s transfer window.

David Moyes already has Michael Antonio available to him, but used Andriy Yarmolenko as a makeshift striker in their recent 4-0 win over Doncaster Rovers in the FA Cup at the London Stadium.

It remains to be seen as to whether there is any truth in the reported fee of £35 million, but it’s safe to say that the Hammers’ reported interest has sparked a reaction from the Celtic Park faithful.

Plenty of Celtic supporters took to the ‘Glasgow Celtic Champions’ Facebook page to react to the news of West Ham United’s rumoured interest in signing Edouard for a fee in the region of £35 million.

Take a look at the best of the reaction below.
