A lot of Newcastle fans have flocked to a post from Keith Downie, which claims that the Magpies are interested in taking Oliver Ntcham on loan from the Bhoys until the end of the season.
The Frenchman was said to want out of Celtic Park in the last transfer window and has barely featured this season for Neil Lennon’s side.
Ntcham has only played 14 league games, and in those matches, he has earned a pretty poor 6.46 rating, which ranks him in 24th place in Celtic’s squad.
Interestingly, it has been reported that the Magpies have rejected a move for Sean Longstaff, so there may be some confusion as to why the club are looking to bring another central midfielder in if they aren’t willing to let one go.
