Celtic fans on Twitter have been sharing their criticism for Hoops midfielder Tom Rogic and his performance during the club’s recent SPFL defeat against St. Mirren.

After managing to pick up all three points in their midweek league game against Hamilton Academical, Neil Lennon’s side took on St. Mirren to try and secure another league win.

Which club did Brown join Celtic from?

However, goals from Kristian Dennis and Ilkay Durmus led to a home defeat for the Bhoys.

Rogic, who came on as a substitute in the second half of the match, did not impress many Celtic fans with his cameo performance, with many taking to Twitter to share their thoughts on the Australian’s display.

So, what did these Celtic fans have to say about Rogic’s performance against St. Mirren?

“I really don’t rate Rogic”

@BenJohn_67

“That’s Tom Rogic to a tee. Lose the ball, commit a foul trying to win it back. Sigh.”

@Markbhoy

“Rogic lack of mobility actually makes it baffling that he has made it to the professional level of football. Runs like he running in mud.”

@CelticSlinky

“Rogic has been a shadow of the player he used to be”

@geedublu

“Rogic absolutely awful recently was given a chance with the others isolating & was atrocious. Looks like he’s given up on his Celtic career”

@callummc89

“Lennon must be drunk if he thinks bringing Rogic on is the answer.”

@MartinM1668

Looking at these tweets from this group of Celtic fans, it’s clear that they were not happy with what they say from Rogic and his second-half display against St. Mirren.

Was Lennon right to bring Rogic on against St. Mirren?

Given the score and end result, it’s clear to see that Rogic didn’t have the required impact that Lennon would have been hoping to have seen from the 28-year-old.

Moving forward, it’ll be interesting to see whether or not Rogic starts in Celtic’s next league game against Kilmarnock in midweek or whether he’ll be named as a substitute once again.
