Supporters of Celtic have recently reacted to a tweet confirming that Jeremie Frimpong has completed his move to Bayer Leverkusen.

On Wednesday evening, Sky Sports journalist Anthony Joseph shared a tweet claiming that the Dutchman had completed his move to the Bundesliga club.

According to his Twitter post, die Werkself sealed the arrival of the right-back from the Hoops for a fee of ‘more than £10m‘.

Joseph also shared that the Amsterdam-born 20-year-old had put pen to paper on a four-year deal with the German outfit.

After 18 games, Leverkusen currently occupy third in the Bundesliga table, having picked up 32 points, meaning they trail league leaders Bayern Munich by 10 points (per BBC).
