Which club did Brown join Celtic from?

One of the topics that came up during the episode was the Bhoys’ Jeremie Frimpong and how he could be made a better player.

The 20-year-old was signed from Manchester City in September 2019 and he has gone on to make 50 appearances for Celtic in which he has played mainly as a right-back and as a right-midfielder.

In total he has scored three goals and provided eight assists; however, Graham thinks that the £3.6m-rated 20-year-old could be improved.

He said: “With Frimpong, any decent coach will actually see Frimpong as a right-winger and actually work on his final ball, that would be the first thing that you would do with Frimpong.

“You said on Saturday, Paul, that Frimpong could go to the next level – yes, he could – but he needs somebody to come in and develop him to go to that next level.

“He hasn’t been developed at Celtic in 18 months.”

Do you think Frimpong would be better under a new manager?

Yes, he would be brilliant

TIF Thoughts on Frimpong…

This season in the league, the Dutchman has achieved an average rating of 6.9/10, which ranks him in 14th place in the Bhoys’ squad, so he has done decently this season, but clearly, Graham thinks that he could get better under a different manager.

The Bhoys have had a disastrous season under Neil Lennon and currently find themselves 21 points behind Rangers in the league table.

Clearly, Graham thinks that Lennon, as well as overseeing this league campaign, has not helped developed the likes of Frimpong enough.

We believe this could be considered a bit harsh because the Dutchman is only young and has performed reasonably well in most of his games this season.
