Image for Celtic: Fans rage at club tweet sharing images

Many Celtic fans have flocked to a tweet from the club’s official Twitter account sharing images from a training session ahead of Wednesday’s Premiership clash with Livingston

The tweet shared images of Scott Brown, Callum McGregor, Leigh Griffiths, Ryan Christie, Scott Bain and Vasilis Barkas training for Wednesday’s trip to the Tony Macaroni Arena.

Hoops manager Neil Lennon and his assistant John Kennedy can also be seen observing their players on the training ground in one of these images.

So, how have these Celtic fans been reacting to this club tweet?

This post came one day after Lennon angrily addressed those who criticised him and his side for embarking on a mid-season trip to Dubai to participate in a warm-weather training camp earlier this month.

That press conference drew a negative reaction from many Hoops fans and with that in mind, it may not come as a massive surprise that these training images didn’t go down too well with fans of the Glasgow club either.

All in all, it’s clear that there’s a lot of unrest amongst members of the Parkhead faithful at present. It will be interesting to see if Lennon can lead his side to a win on Wednesday, and whether or not that successfully cools the tension around the club to an extent.
