Celtic fans on Twitter have been responding to the latest video of Hoops midfielder David Turnbull.

This comes after the official Celtic Twitter account shared a post on their page that contained a video of Turnbull speaking to the club’s media after their 1-1 draw against Hibernian on Monday night.

Which club did Brown join Celtic from?

During the video, Turnbull said that the result was a “tough one to take” after the midfield man opened the scoring for the Hoops in the 82nd minute of the game before an injury-time equaliser for the away side snatched two points away from Celtic.

This post from the official Celtic Twitter account then gathered a lot of replies from Hoops fans who were not shy in sharing their responses to it.

So, what did these Celtic fans have to say about this video of Turnbull and their result against Hibernian?

“Feel for you pal shining light, but the failings of our great club have let us all down, Lawell and Lennon out.”

@Joem69Joseph

“Feel sorry for him having to work in such an amateurish club”

@ccww1967

“Only bhoy that can hold his head high”

@Jockylad67

“Deserves better”

@ConorCFC_x

“A real sore one for him and the players tonight. No lack of effort from them. It’s Celtic FC that is a disgrace, a shambles. It’s what happens when an amatuer is in charge of team affairs.”

@johndoc1968

“League was done before he got a chance. Been our best player since he has played. Lawwell out, Lennon out, JK, GS the lot. OUT”

@POD198

Looking at the replies to this post, it appears that these Celtic fans are pointing the finger at the club’s hierarchy rather than Turnbull for this latest league result.

Do you think Lennon and the Celtic board are to blame for the club's poor season?

No

Yes

Yes

Given how Turnbull earned himself a decent match rating of 7.68/10 for his performance against Hibernian, the highest of any outfield Celtic player on the night, it’s understandable why these Hoops fans are supporting him.

However, with the club now 21 points behind league leaders Rangers with three games in hand, it’s clear to see why these Celtic fans aren’t happy with the management and hierarchy of the club at this moment in time.
