Celtic fans have been reacting angrily to Neil Lennon’s latest press conference as he talks about his position at the club.

Pressure has been mounting on the Celtic boss for some time now with the club going through a disastrous campaign. On the pitch, they find themselves 21 points behind their Old Firm rivals, and have found themselves surrounded in controversy off the pitch too.

Speaking ahead of their next game against Livingston (via Glasgow Times), Lennon talked about the people who are calling for him to be sacked and how it seems to be rather rich of them considering what the club have managed to achieve recently, sealing the quadruple-treble only back in December, exclaiming: “It was only a month ago we won the treble but now there’s a bloodlust out there for me to lose my job.”

But fans on Facebook page Glasgow Celtic Champions were not buying into his statement one bit, as they tore into the head coach for his words:

Looks like the hard work that he’s done at the club since he took over isn’t enough to cover up for one bad season.
