Image for Celtic: Fans fume as club share Dubai training images

Celtic fans on Twitter have been reacting to the latest social media post from the club.

This comes after the official Celtic Twitter account shared a post on their page that contained four images of their players during a recent training session they had after flying out to Dubai, which had picked up some criticism from the Scottish government.

Which club did Brown join Celtic from?

This post then gathered a lot of replies from Celtic fans who were quick to share their responses to this latest post from the club.

So, what did these Celtic fans have to say in response to the club’s latest post?

“Joke of a club”

@marcmcb11

“Just stop!”

@ClaireK77

“Stop tweeting”

@Jd_travels1

“Does no one at the club understand how tone deaf this is?”

@poisonxxgirl

“what has happened to my club!”

@TheDavy01

“Stop this”

@philbertosilva

Looking at the replies to this post, it appears that these Hoops fans are not happy with the fact that the club’s official Twitter account posted these images of the players in Dubai when the fans in Scotland were recently put into a national lockdown as a result of the global pandemic.

In our view, while it is the club’s job to keep their fans updated on what’s going on with the players and everyone else at the club on social media, perhaps the timing of this post wasn’t the best.

Are you disappointed by this post from the club?

Aside from that issue, these Celtic fans will undoubtedly be hoping that this trip to Dubai seriously gives the players a boost for the rest of the season as they currently stand 19 points behind Rangers at the top of the SPFL table.
