Supporters of Celtic have recently flocked to a transfer claim on Preston North End’s Ben Davies which was shared by Anthony Joseph.

Initially, the Sky Sports journalist claimed that the Hoops were ‘closing in’ on a pre-contract agreement with the 25-year-old centre-back to sign him in the summer (per Anthony Joseph).

However, a later tweet from Joseph claimed that the Bhoys were looking to seal his arrival in the current transfer window.

The deal is dependant upon Neil Lennon’s side agreeing terms with the player and supposedly it is a ‘fast-moving situation‘.

It was also claimed by Joseph, though, that the Premiership side are not the only interested party as Bournemouth are also keen on him.

After the transfer claim on Davies was shared on Twitter, lots of Celtic fans flocked to it to air their thoughts.
