What did Celtic fans make of this update about Shaw?

It has previously been reported that Wednesday indeed are looking to get Shaw to sign a new deal at the club and in a recent interview, the youngster himself made it clear that he wants his contract to be sorted out soon. Which club did Brown join Celtic from?

He also confirmed that his agent has held talks with the club already but didn’t give away too many details about whether he will sign a new deal or not.

A lot of Celtic fans have negative things to say about this news, with some of them frustrated about the fact that their club is looking to sign players on a pre-contract basis and not right away this month.

Shaw though, can play in central midfield and can also play at centre-back. This shows his versatility as a player and the youngster is still only 19. So he may offer the potential to improve in the future. Signing a versatile young player on a free transfer may be a useful move, as it could allow Celtic some resale value too.
