Kevin Graham has been speaking on a recent edition of the A Celtic State of Mind podcast about all things Celtic.

Which club did Brown join Celtic from?

One of the topics that he spent a lot of time on was Neil Lennon and potential replacements for the current Celtic boss.

One name that he mentioned was current Hibernian boss and former Sunderland manager Jack Ross, who Graham believes could well become the next Celtic manager.

He said: “Whether I want Jack Ross or not, or whether I feel Jack Ross is good enough for Celtic Football Club is another story.

“I just believe that’s the route that we’ll go down for a couple of different reasons; one, they have maybe realised that they need somebody that can develop players now; two, Brendan Rodgers really, really rates Jack Ross really highly; and three, he’s cheap.

“That’s the three reasons I reckon Jack Ross will be the next Celtic manager.”

Do you think Ross would be a good replacement for Lennon?

TIF Thoughts on Jack Ross becoming the next Celtic boss…

Graham makes some good points, and though it is unclear if he wants the 44-year-old to become the next Celtic boss, he sets out reasons for why he thinks the club might go for him.

However, while he was with Sunderland, he failed to get the Black Cats promoted from League One during the 2018/19 season before he was sacked during the 2019/20 season with Sunderland four points off the automatic promotion spots.

Since he has taken over at Hibs, he has averaged 1.75 points per game and has his team sat in fourth in the league, seven points behind the Bhoys.

So, has he really done enough to warrant the Celtic job? We don’t think so, but we will be intrigued to see if Graham is right and Ross becomes the next Celtic boss.
