John from The Grand Auld Podcast has been speaking on the latest edition of the show about all things relating to Celtic.
One of the main topics that he and the rest of the panel talked about was the Old Firm derby that ended in a 1-0 defeat for the Bhoys.
This then triggered talk of the future and what Celtic should do next and led John to issue this claim on Peter Lawwell.
He said: (38:43) “I think Peter Lawwell is obsessed with Rangers, and I honestly don’t mind saying that.
“He’s absolutely obsessed with Rangers, and I know that he is.
“Celtic aren’t focused on themselves, not focused on making themselves the best they can be and striving for excellence in every single department.
“It seems to be just doing whatever you can to save face and keep the supporters happy for another three months.
“That’s honestly what it feels like to me; it kind of feels like they are winging it.”

TIF Thoughts on Lawwell…
Lawwell, as the chief executive of Celtic, has overseen an incredibly successful period in the club’s history, but it looks like at the crucial stage of chasing the tenth league title in a row, the Bhoys under his leadership have blown it.
Celtic are 19 points behind Rangers, so you can see why John from The Grand Auld Podcast is angry with Lawwell.
However, there is no evidence to suggest that Lawwell is obsessed with Rangers apart from what John says himself.
So, until we see more evidence of Lawwell’s apparent obsession with the Gers, then we won’t be reading too much into these claims, though they are interesting.
